When I think of who I want my kids to grow up to be like, it’s not Kobe Bryant or Robert Downey Jr. It’s Chris Hadfield. Now that’s a real hero.
Not really sure how I am gaining followers since I’ve barely been posting. I’ve been sick for 3 out of 4 weeks in a row now. Fitness has been replaced by phlegm. Hopefully this bullshit ends this week.
Being sick is dumb.
5k hills. Wind. Rain. Typical Friday night these days.
Wut. There's no way.
http://www.runnersworld.com/races/mike-fremont-91-finishes-knoxville-half-marathon-304 I’ll be lucky to be alive, let alone run a half at 91.

I ran some hills. Now I’m gonna cook a steak and some veggies and drink my water. Let’s not get too excited, it’s just Monday.
Getting better each time. Today’s run felt really good again. I have a lot of weight to lose though. Stomach and love handles need to go home, you’re drunk.

I’ve been eating super healthy and I can feel it in my runs. Today’s 5k of hills was by far the best yet. I felt a little weak because my caloric intake has been a little low all week but it went away once I hit my stride. Tonight’s dinner is chicken fajitas, except without all the good stuff like sour cream and guacamole, cuz that shit’s fat yo. Also, no carbs...
It's all fun and games
Until you get to the hills. Feels a little bit better every time though :D
Nice run tonight. I can feel that I have gained some strength this week and the weather has been pretty good.

5k Hills Again
Better get used to these lame little updates.
melanieisdoinglife said: Shave the beard and you’d probably lose about 5 lbs. :) This is a hilarious comment, but probably somewhat based on fact.
I’m so out of shape. I’m about 10lbs heavier than I was back in October when I was running 10k all the time. On the flip side I registered for the Electric Run Portland in July I think it is. My friend won a drawing for free registration and he couldn’t make it so he was kind enough to pass it on to me! Anyhow, I need to get back to less time on the computer and more time...
Ran 5k of hills. So bad. I’m like a wounded dinosaur limping along. Oh well, Rome wasn’t built in a day. On a side note: Rome took about 500 years to be built up so let’s hope this goes faster than that.
12 chicken breasts cooking in the oven. 1/2 teriyaki 1/2 paleo chicken parm, along with carrots, green beans, and broccoli. 1 week’s worth of healthy meals INCOMING!
New Mission: Count down to the unbearding.
I have been running less and less and eating more and more. I need to turn this train around. Finally it looks like we are starting to get some daylight, because quite honestly, running in the dark with a flashlight is bullshit. I’m all good for a few weeks of it but eventually it just eats away at the fun of running; for me at least. So here is my new goal. The beard will continue to...
I follow so many amazing people. You guys inspire me all the time even if you don’t know it. Joining tumblr was a really good idea.
10k in the books.
Slow, fat, and stubborn. I’ve got a lot of work to do but it felt great to get out and run.
Brenna is really horrible at shaving her legs.
This is what I was trying to tell all along
First half sucked hard, second half was great after I finally found my stride. Now off to change the oil on my truck and wash that filthy beast.
My marathon training sucks ass. I’m running like once a week at this point. I’ve been working out, but that’s easy to do in the middle of the night. Long distance running, not so much. I’ve been putting in more and more overtime and trying to keep up with stuff at work on top of it. Ughh. I gotta turn this train around or this marathon in May is going to be a joke. A...
I’m drinking expired carrot juice. That’s right ladies, I like to live a little dangerously.
