Really looking forward to my 7 mile run tonight. Worked a bit of overtime the last couple days and pushed back my run 1 day. Suddenly I find myself craving that silent time where I can just ran and get lost in my own head. I’ve got a 12 mile run on Friday. I kind of doubt I will even notice it’s 2 more miles than my last two Fridays but you never know.

Nearly every time I go on a 5+ mile run I pass under a giant bird nest. I’m not sure if it is a hawk or an eagle but that sucker is big and pissed. I wish I could zoom in on my GPS tracked path when I go under the demon’s nest. I’m betting my speed spikes for about 15 seconds. Well, tonight I risky my life yet again in the pursuit of fitness and glory.
